Background: Isolan adventurer Dominic DeFate was head of the detective agency Danger International, which specialized in difficult missions of investigation, rescue, recovery and salvage.

Status: Semi-retired

Skills: DeFate was a skilled detective, martial artist and hand to hand combatant. However, he wasn't as skilled at running a business, or at keeping a girlfriend.

Technology: As a troubleshooter, detective and adventurer, DeFate had a huge arsenal of weapons. He liked using his grandfather's Ruger revolver, which was reputed to have been captured from Death's-Head during World War 1.
