Background: Janet Duval was a student of arcane philosophy who was seduced by the demon Surgat. As the demon's minion, she was granted a part of his power. Later, Hellfire broke free of Surgat's control and began a quest to become a full-fledged demon herself. She recruited a team of powerful villains to assist her.
