Zydeco Jones

Real Name: Zydeco Aloysius Jones

Background: In a series of secret experiments, the Nova Institute enhanced the intelligence of some animals to human levels and beyond. When these experiments became public knowledge, the enhanced animals, who were educated and articulate, were considered people, and were released into society.

Zydeco Jones is an orangutan originally born in the Sumatran jungle, but he was destined for bigger things. At the Institute, he learned everything he needed to to know from old biker movies.

When he needed employment, he partnered with his old 'cell-mate', Monk McGurk, and now sometimes works as the muscle for the McGurk detective agency. It's enough to keep him in bananas.

Powers: Zydeco has the superhuman strength of a Sumatran orangutan.

Skills: Zydeco is smart as a whip, although a bit wild, and knows everything about motorcycles. He is also well-versed in the underworld.
