CounterForce/Strike Team: SeattleCounterForce's flagship operation was founded in Seattle, and originally consisted of a team of novice heroes who grew in skill as they progressed. CounterForce Seattle dealt with many threats, including Lazarus X and his main enforcer, Diehard. They also stopped the worm-like Annelids, a race of underground dwellers, when they attacked the surface. The most important battle for the team was against Project ACHILLES, a government program to create android warriors. Unknown to the team, Force and Gauge were actually androids created by ACHILLES, implanted with false memories and infiltrated as spies. They were eventually pitted against their teammates. In a climactic battle at the Space Needle, they as well as Lodestar were killed. Strike Team: Seattle is still active and currently led by Skidz, but with a slightly different roster. First Appearance: COUNTERFORCE #1
