Commonwealth of Isola

The archipelago nation of Isola, located in the Northern Pacific, was originally settled by English-speaking European colonists in the 1700s. Isola had been mostly a quiet but well-developed country, rich in resources, protected from wars by the oceans that surround it.

Isola was catapulted onto the world stage during the Hero Wars, when a Karnak starcruiser crash landed on Isolan territory. The enterprising Isolans managed to reverse-engineer much of the Karnak advanced technology, boosting their own economy.

However, this prosperity made them a target for an invasion by Transasia. The superteam Watchstar was called in to defend the country, leading to a tremendous battle for Isolan freedom. Watchstar was also based here for a time as a guest of the Isolan government.
