Real Name: Shawn Michaels

Background: M's mutant magnetic powers manifested themselves when he was a teenager in the Midwest. M was a charter member of the Sentries and was eventually asked to join the second Watchstar team. During the Hero Wars, M was infected with the alien virus and adopted a new form and identity known as Quantum.

Powers: M had mastery of magnetism, and could control iron and other metals at a distance.

Skills: As a university student, M was trained in the physical sciences. He was also a skilled pilot.
