Real Name: Kelly Kyle

Background: Kelly Kyle was a plucky photographer who got a little too close to a radiation experiment at the Nova Institute and gained superpowers as a result. She later rescued the entire Watchstar team from a trap set by Karnak scientists, and was asked to join by Protector. She was later killed in action by Clone Master, and the fallout from her death was largely responsible for the end of the first Watchstar team.

Powers: Shooting Star could fly at supersonic speeds, as well as project a powerful force field around her body.

Skills: Kelly was an expert photographer who had travelled widely with her journalist father. She spoke several languages and had a knack for dangerous places.
