Supernova Squadron

Supernova Squadron was a group of teen superheroes based in Nathaniel Nova High School, in Pacific City, California. Originally known as SPIDER, the team battled many menaces for several years, until most of them went off to college. Most have continued their superhero careers.

Empress (Tawny Daniels) was the exiled heir of a distant planet and possessed the ancestral powers of her people. She later adopted the identity of Scarlet. High School Archetype: Future Valedictorian

Timberwolf (Richard Kiowa) was given the ability to transform into a powerful wolf by his Indian shaman grandfather. High School Archetype: Sullen Loner

Gothika (Lisa Anders) was the original dark superhero, with super strength, durability, and a problem with mood swings. High School Archetype: Goth Chick

Wonderos (Harold Piffle) is a member of a family with a sorcerous heritage. Slight, bookish, and unathletic, he was an unlikely hero. High School Archetype: Four-Eyed Nerd

Banzai (Martin Swoop) is the son of a famous solder and survivalist who obsessively doted on his son's martial arts training. The experience left him more than a little unbalanced. High School Archetype: Crazed Oddball

Banzai and Wonderos were later recruited for the government team called the Corsairs.

Blazer (Oliver Lawrence) wore a power ring and cybersuit that used microminiaturized technologies invented by his wealthy uncle. After he was seriously injured in battle, he later took a job at the faculty of the Pacific Academy. High School Archetype: Handsome Rich Kid

Fastball (Lowell Swift), gained the ability to move at superhuman speeds after exposure to radiation in the chemistry lab. High School Archetype: Loudmouth Jock
