Surge

Real Name: Mitchell Young

Background: Surge is a supermutant who discovered his powers as a teenager. Beginning his career with the name Charger, he joined the first Watchstar team. He was later 'killed' by Sargon. However, his electronic form was later reconstituted and he took the name Surge. He assumed leadership of the third Watchstar team when Gauntlet was injured, and then reassumed leadership of the fifth Watchstar team. Surge is married to news reporter Tamara Baines Young.
