Eclipse

Eclipse is an international criminal conspiracy with its roots in the Middle Ages. It was founded by a group of European alchemists who successfully managed to create the Philosopher's Stone, which could transmute elements into other elements. With nearly unlimited wealth, they were free to pursue dreams of domination over the rest of the world. They have used a mixture of both modern and magical technology, combining the very latest military hardware with enchanted weaponry.

They have often come into conflict with superheroes, and were rivals of HAVOC for decades.

In the last part of the 20th century, Eclipse and all its assets was taken over by Lazarus X, with bases and armies of agents worldwide. When CounterForce got too close to his operations, he launched an all-out war on them, but was defeated. In recent years, the leadership of Eclipse has been uncertain, and its forces have been in retreat.
