Real Name: Melissa Barnes
Background: Jade is actually an alternate universe version of Earth-Prime's Jade, who was killed during the Hero Wars. She travelled here in an accident involving Watchstar's Probability Gate.
Jade was a member of Watchstar's third team and was a founding member of Watchstar West.
She later joined the Knight/Watch team in LA before pursuing a career in the entertainment industry and then returning to the superhero world.
Earth-Prime's Melissa Barnes had a sister, Carolyn, who was also known as the supervillain Topaz.
Jade married the superhero Kodiak, but the two later divorced. They have one child, Dakota, who is currently in her father's custody in New York.
