Megadeath
Real Name: Dr Herman Kunkel
Background: Dr Herman Kunkel was a bookish, cold-blooded mathematician during the Silver Age, working on mathematical studies on the effects of nuclear weapons. Exposed to horrific radiation, Kunkel gained the power to project and control gamma rays. However, he was also driven mad and went on a rampage in Los Angeles. The superhero Griffin tried to stop him, trapping Megadeath in cryo-suspension, but the Griffin was also trapped. The two spent decades in deep freeze, their fates unknown, until they were both thawed out in modern times.
After his reawakening, Megadeath's powers became even more deadly.
Status: Active
Powers: Megadeath has the power to project and control radiation, making him dangerous in the extreme.
Skills: Kunkel was a skilled mathematician.
