Nomad (and the Grasp)
Real Name: Kaz Dyson
Background: Interstellar pirate, smuggler, and con man, Kaz Dyson fell in with the interstellar freedom fighters called the Liberators, when he was freed from a Karnak prison colony. Although he has often talked of fleeing, he has never deserted his teammates. Underneath all his cynicism is really a high-minded idealist.
He later distinguished himself in the assault on the Karnak homeworld.
Kaz's right hand is actually an intelligent alien parasite called the Grasp. The Grasp symbiote gives Kaz low-level psi powers.
Nomad has a brother, a bounty hunter named Starchaser.

Skills: Kaz is an expert pilot, and a smooth talker. He is a naturally charismatic leader. He's also not a bad hand with weapons, particularly energy swords.
Technology: Kaz favors whatever weapons he can borrow or steal.
