Manhunter
Real Name: Cyrus Kempf
Background: Cyrus Kempf was a US Army reconnaissance and electronics expert who fought in several unpopular wars. He was later court-martialled for crimes he did not commit and discharged.
After returning to the US, he made a living as a bounty hunter. On one contract, he came up against a group of agents of the HAVOC organization, and stole an experimental flying vehicle called a skycycle.
When his sister and her husband were killed by Petro, he took up life as a masked adventurer, using his skills and technology to deal justice in his own way. Later, he joined the outlaw vigilantes known as the Strong Persuaders.
Manhunter is currently a
crimefighter in the metro New
York area. He has a habit of appropriating technology from foes he
defeats. Recently, he has been seen as a partner to the hero Mistral.
In
his civilian identity, he runs the Elysium Electronics shop in Red
Hook, Brooklyn, and is the holder of several lucrative patents.
